  • Christianne Burns

    OWNER OPERATOR

Hi, everyone! I’m Christianne Burns (soon to be Butler), and I’m the Owner Operator of Rocktown Volleyball Club aka RoVo. RoVo began as a passion project for me, and now I can’t imagine my life without it! After graduating high school, I got connected with the adult volleyball circuit in Harrisonburg, VA , and I started quickly started coaching. I’ve had the privilege of coaching middle school, JV, and varsity teams throughout the valley, including coaching girls volleyball teams and boys volleyball teams. I am currently the JV Head Coach at Spotswood High School, and I work full time as the Catering Director at Crossroads Cafe & Catering.

My role at Rocktown is to oversee all operations, including indoor travel teams and outdoor grass tournaments.

  • Dallas Butler

    ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT COACH

Dallas has coached high school track and field for 7 years, specializing in coaching hurdles and high jump. Starting right out of high school, he coached at Turner Ashby before continuing on to Spotswood, where he led YoungLife.  Dallas became obsessed with volleyball watching the 2008 summer olympics, but never had opportunity to play organized volleyball until adulthood. In recent years, Dallas has become a student of the sport, watching and analyzing matches for indoor and outdoor volleyball, while also learning the ins and outs of the sport through media. Dallas helps at many of our grass volleyball events, and his role for RoVo Juniors is to aid in the athletic development of our players, including injury prevention. Dallas recently accepted a position as a Firefighter in Rockingham County, so he is around volleyball as much as his schedule allows!
